Description
Summary
The automatic wire rope cutting machine is used to cut the steel wire rope into right size continuously, which is widely used for control cable production, such as brake cable, clutch cable, throttle wire, etc. Compare to traditional machine, the new generation one works automatically with higher accuracy and lower noise.
Configuration and performance
- Wire rope feeding device
The wire rope feeding device was driven by servo motor and servo controller. The feeding process as follow:
a) Slow to fast speed pre-feeding at beginning
b) Slow speed feeding when length is close to limit.
c) Fixed the feeding length by encoder
2. Wire rope cutting device
- The braking cylinder works to fix wire rope after getting feedback from length encoder, with the help of V shape clamp, the cutting section will be smooth without burr.
- The cutting blade will return back with delay after cutting
- The cutting blade is inlaid with alloy steel to ensure the long time work.
3. Control system
The wire rope cutting machine is controlled by Omron PLC, and the cutting length, cutting quantity can be set by touch screen. Also have the emergency stop and alarm system for counting, material finish and fault, etc.
